Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to sessions booked through https://tattvam.pro or directly with Tattvam Thought Studio using the same payment systems.
Counselling and coaching appointments reserve practitioner time. These terms balance fairness to clients with the need to protect scheduled clinical hours.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service and is subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in India.
When a booking is confirmed
A session is confirmed when payment is successfully processed and you receive booking confirmation by email and/or calendar invite.
Until payment is complete, the slot is not guaranteed and may be offered to another client.
Rescheduling
- 24+ hours before session: one free reschedule to the next available slot, subject to availability
- Less than 24 hours before session: reschedule at our discretion; the full session fee may be charged if the slot cannot be refilled
- Request rescheduling by email (hello@tattvam.pro) or phone (+91 98765 43210) with your name, original slot, and preferred alternatives
Cancellation by you
- 24+ hours before session: full refund to the original payment method, or credit for a future session within 90 days (your choice)
- Less than 24 hours before session: no refund; credit up to 50% of the fee may be offered at our discretion if the slot cannot be refilled
- No-show: failure to join within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior notice — treated as a completed session; no refund or credit
- Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in requirement of prepayment for future bookings or decline of further bookings
Cancellation by us
If we cancel due to practitioner illness, emergency, or studio-side technical failure, you may choose a full refund or priority rescheduling at no additional cost.
If you are dissatisfied with a session for legitimate service reasons, contact us within 48 hours. We will review in good faith—this may include a partial credit or complimentary follow-up where appropriate; refunds after a completed session are exceptional.
Refund method & timeline
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Razorpay within 7–10 business days. Bank, wallet, or international card processing may take additional time.
Refunds are in the currency and amount originally paid, minus non-refundable payment-gateway charges only where permitted by law and disclosed at booking.
Packages & promotions
Multi-session packages or discounted bundles, if offered, will state their own refund rules at purchase.
Unless otherwise stated: unused package sessions may be refunded pro-rata within 30 days of purchase if no session has been used; after the first session, refunds are limited to unused sessions minus a reasonable administrative fee.
Chargebacks & complaints
Contact hello@tattvam.pro before initiating a payment chargeback. We will respond promptly with booking and attendance records.
Unjustified chargebacks for attended sessions may result in refusal of future bookings and recovery of fees where permitted by law.
Consumer complaints may also be raised with appropriate consumer forums under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, in addition to contacting us directly.
